Oh, To Be A Woman
Anita Rose
I am supposed to be slender
And my touch needs to be tender
My service must render
A house so clean.
Oh, to be a woman
The pain is much to bear
Oh, to be so concerned
With what to wear.
And the condition of my hair
I am much aware
Needs help
Another bad hair day.
My nails need polishing
The dishes need washing
The clothes need drying
Here I sit at my desk, writing.
The good news at last
Is those days are past
When a woman had to be
Enslaved.
