A Necklace of Peace

I would like to make a Necklace of Peace -
And put it around the world,
Connecting every distant shore.
His goodness would reign, shine once more.
It would ever be on display -
For all mankind to see.
It would “never ever” break,
Each nation clasped in “give and take,”
And keep promises that they make.
To make a better world,
Spread “jeweled rays of good,”
Ever so strong in unity.
“Friendly binds” by a handshake,
“Keepsakes” would be all they’d make!
It would sparkle everywhere at night.
Light up. Eradicate gloom – wars..
It would be “Priceless as the Trinity,”
It would encircle you and me -
And last for all eternity!
